Overview

What is a Category?

A Category is a tag or label that groups clients together. Categories is one of our most favorited features in One Step!

How can your organization optimize this fabulous feature, you ask? By categorizing your clients, you will find it useful in many parts of software. For instance, the Agenda feature for creating Events and Goals, such as, assigning chores or setting curfew check in's. You can use Levels/Tiers/ Phases or even programs like MAT & IOP as a Category. Another example is filtering your searches in the Payments Dashboard and in the Data Outcomes feature to pull insights.

  • Once in the Client Profile, click Edit in the upper right corner

  • *NOTE: Discuss with your team what Categories you will want to utilize, define that list of Categories, then Create them to be available for staff moving forward. Creating a list of Categories for your staff to follow will set the president and avoid any misspellings or accidental Categories that do not apply to your program.
