How to Check Into a Location/Event

Overview

Checking into locations through the client app is an important part of keeping accountable while using One Step. When an event, such as an AA Meeting or Drug Test, is created it can be made to checked into. Below are instructions on how to check into an event using the client app: 

 

  • Once logged into the app, you'll be able to see any events that require a check in under the Agenda feature on the main page. 
  • To check into an event, choose the Check In feature on the left of the page

  • Choose the upcoming meeting at the bottom of the list to check into the event, if an event is not listed but you still need to check into a meeting or the facility choose Home or Other Type of Meeting

  • While checked in, you're able to upload a photo by clicking Select Image as well as leave a comment in the Notes section. These will be visible to staff members in One Step.
  • Once your time at the location is up, to check out of the facility choose Check Out under the name of the meeting you are currently checked into

Pro Tip: 

If a photo is attached to a check-in, you will be able to see the photo attached to the check-in and any notes submitted in two sections: the Client profile > Check in tab or the Client App Hub > Check-in Tab > Click 'edit Check in' details for a particular check in:

  • You will be prompted to fill out where you are going next, once you've put your next destination into the text box, click Check Out
