Overview
Sometimes there are instances where you'll need to accept a partial payment toward rent or even accept more money than you're owed. In these cases, we have the Available Funds feature to help keep track of why and how you've been given physical funds.
- Enter the Client Profile from the Client page by clicking the client's name in blue
- Click the Payment Tab on the left side of the Client Profile
- Click the Add Funds button in the upper right corner of the Payment Tab
- Enter the way you were paid, the amount, and a memo to know why you accepted the payment
To Apply Available Funds to an Invoice...
- You can only pay an invoice with the Available Funds if the amount of the Available Funds is equal to or more than the invoice amount.
- Click Make Payment to the right of the invoice
- Choose Available Funds from the drop down.
